What to bring to your surfing lesson or summer surf camp
We try to make it easy and comfortable for our students by supplying big stable soft surfboards that are ideal for learning, as well as full length wetsuits. Wet suits offer sun protection, warmth and comfort, so our students can maximize their time in the water.
Group, Private and Semi-Private Surfing Lessons
Just bring a towel, your swim trunks, sunscreen, and perhaps a bottle of water or juice for after your two-hour lesson.
We supply the wet suit, surfboard, leash, and quality surfing instruction.
Day Surf Camps
Bring a towel, your swim trunks, sunscreen.
We supply fresh fruit, snacks and drinks, wet suit, surfboard, leash, and of course, our quality surfing instruction.
Overnight Surf Camps
You are welcome (but not required) to bring your own surfboard and/or wetsuit, rashguard, beach balls, beach games or toys, body board, skateboards, fins, snorkel and mask, musical instruments, camera (disposable waterproof cameras are recommended), and special foods or medicines. Also feel free to bring a little cash for use at the camp store for snacks or souvenirs.
We supply tents, sleeping pads (though you are welcome to bring your own), surfboards, wetsuits, and all meals starting with lunch on the first day and ending with lunch on the last day.
Don't forget to bring a check or cash for the balance of your camp fees, if you are not paid in advance, and your signed Release Form (notarized if the parent is not present).
We advise against bringing any valuables or electronics, as we cannot be responsible for those items. Bring them at your own risk.
