Tuesday, July 29, 2008 Amy K - Tucson, AZ My 10 year old son just completed afternoon surf camp. This was his second summer with Eli Howard and once again it was the highlight of all his summer activities. Not only is he learning to surf, but he also loves the campground, the fun and the food! As a parent, I am impressed with the level of supervision and feel totally comfortable leaving my son with Eli Howard staff every afternoon. My son is sure to return again next summer. Well, guys, I think we were your very first overnight campers in August 2004 - you guys were still taking price tags off the tents when we arrived! The boys and I had SO much fun - in Ohio, a surfing vacation was the furthest thing from my mind. I found you guys online, checked out the website, exchanged a few emails and showed up at the campsite a few weeks later. I would HIGHLY recommend you to anyone, young or old. This was after 30 years of living landlocked and dreaming about learning to surf someday. Can't say enough about the quality of instruction and the location (San Elijo beach). Saturday, October 22, 2005 Florent & Karine MARTIN & CROZAT - Del Mar, California This is to thank Ryan that first got up standing on a board, and Emily who taught us the basics and spirit of surfing--back to November 2003. Both were really patient, cool and encouraging! Since then, surfing on our own has been a great experience even though we would still need advice and being taught new tricks--but as Emily said: "the road is long".
